To keep website maintenance costs low and allow fast updates to a website whilst maintaining consistent styling (a problem if you allow many in-house users to express their creative streak via your company website!), most of our clients choose to have a degree of content management built into their website.
No web design knowledge is needed to use our CMSs, merely very basic word processing knowledge and the ability to use the web. Our browser based content management systems reside on your web server but are only accessed by staff with the correct user name and password.
A content management tool could be as simple as an editable paragraph of text on the home page or as complex as you could wish. For example you could have the ability to:
- Add whole pages or sections to a site
- upload photographs or change logos
- remove inappropriate posts to an online forum
